Programs & Therapies
Evidence-based, comprehensive therapy delivered by 10+ specialist disciplines
Our Multidisciplinary Therapy Programs
Each program is delivered by certified specialists and integrated seamlessly into every child's Individualised Education Plan (IEP) for maximum holistic impact.
Speech & Language Therapy
Speech and Language Therapy at School of Stars addresses the full spectrum of communication challenges faced by children with ASD, SLD and IDD.
Our certified Speech-Language Pathologists work on articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic social communication, and augmentative & alternative communication (AAC) where needed. Every program is highly individualised and built around each child's communication profile.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapy program focuses on helping children develop the skills they need for daily life, school participation and independence.
Occupational Therapists at School of Stars assess and address fine motor skills, handwriting, self-care routines (dressing, feeding, hygiene), play skills, classroom skills, and visual-motor integration. Sessions are designed to be engaging and meaningful to each child's daily context.
Behavioral Therapy (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is one of the most researched and effective approaches for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Our behavioral therapists conduct thorough functional behavior assessments and design positive behavior support plans. We focus on building adaptive behaviors, reducing challenging behaviors, teaching communication and social skills through structured and naturalistic teaching methods, always in a respectful, child-centered manner.
Sensory Integration Therapy
Many children with ASD and developmental disabilities experience sensory processing differences that affect their learning and daily life.
Our Sensory Integration specialists use a rich array of therapeutic tools — weighted blankets, sensory swings, tactile activities, proprioceptive input, vestibular challenges — to help children process and respond to sensory information more effectively. Our sensory gym provides a safe space for this vital work.
Play Therapy
Play is the natural language of childhood. For children with special needs, play therapy is a powerful therapeutic medium.
Our play therapists use structured and unstructured play to help children express feelings they cannot yet put into words, process difficult experiences, develop social skills, and build confidence. Sessions are warm, child-led and deeply attuned to each child's emotional world.
Music, Art & Dance Therapy
Creative arts therapies unlock channels of expression, confidence and healing that traditional approaches may not reach.
Our Music Therapists use rhythm, melody and instrument play to improve communication, social engagement and emotional regulation. Art Therapists facilitate visual expression for cognitive and emotional growth. Dance/Movement Therapists harness the mind-body connection to develop motor skills, body image and self-expression in a joyful, non-competitive environment.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy at School of Stars addresses the physical development needs of children with ASD, IDD and related conditions.
Our physiotherapists assess and address gross motor delays, hypotonia (low muscle tone), balance, coordination, gait, and postural control. Programs include therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy guidance, aquatic therapy referrals, and school-based movement programs that support physical fitness and bodily confidence.
Social Skills Training
Structured social skills training is one of the most impactful interventions for children with ASD and related social communication challenges.
Our Social Skills program uses evidence-based group and individual sessions to teach conversational skills, perspective-taking, friendship skills, conflict resolution, community participation and workplace readiness for older students. Sessions incorporate role-play, video modelling, social stories and real-world practice in a safe environment.
Remedial Education
Remedial Education provides targeted academic support for children with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and those experiencing academic difficulties.
Our remedial educators use multisensory teaching methods (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading) to address reading (dyslexia), writing (dysgraphia), mathematics (dyscalculia), and processing difficulties. Sessions are engaging, encouraging and focused on building genuine academic competence alongside positive learning attitudes.
Clinical Psychology
Our Clinical Psychology department provides comprehensive assessment, therapy and support services for children and families.
Certified Clinical Psychologists conduct standardised psychological and psycho-educational assessments (IQ, adaptive behavior, developmental, neuropsychological). They provide individual child therapy, family counselling, parent guidance, crisis intervention and consultation for school teams. They also collaborate with medical professionals for holistic care coordination.
Indian Cognitive Enrichment Programme (ICEP)
A groundbreaking cognitive modification program that transforms how children think, learn and solve problems.
Enhancing the Brain's Capacity to Learn
The Indian Cognitive Enrichment Programme (ICEP) is based on the principles of cognitive modifiability and Mediated Learning Experience — the understanding that cognitive capacity is dynamic and can be expanded through targeted, structured interventions.
At School of Stars, our ICEP specialists work with children through structured exercises that target specific cognitive functions. Each session is a rich mediated learning experience where the focus is on the thinking process, strategy building, and self-regulation.
